Principal's Welcome

I extend a warm welcome to East Butler Primary School. It is a privilege to serve as the Principal of this exceptional institution, where our community is dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for every student.

At East Butler, we take great pride in our diverse student body, which represents a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives. Our school is committed to offering a variety of programs and initiatives that cater to the unique needs and interests of our students. With highly skilled teachers and support staff, we strive to create an environment where every child feels valued and supported in their educational journey.

Our Deputy Principals play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school and making necessary adjustments to support student learning. They make learning adjustments for children, help with school operations and work with myself to ensure that our school is safe, inclusive, fun and a joyful journey for the children.

Central to our mission is the well-being of our students, both socially and emotionally. We are proud to offer support services such as our Chaplaincy Program and School Psychologist, as well as ongoing initiatives throughout the year aimed at promoting positive mental health.

We firmly believe in the importance of collaboration between school, parents, and the wider community. Through active involvement in our School Board and P&C Association, as well as various school activities, families play a vital role in supporting our ethos and enhancing the educational experience for all students.

My team and I are eager to partner with prospective parents to ensure that every child's learning journey at East Butler Primary School is fulfilling and enjoyable. Together, we can foster a supportive and enriching environment where every student can thrive.

We acknowledge and respect the traditional custodians of the land on which our students live and are educated, the Whadjak and Yued people. We wish to acknowledge and show our respect for their elders, past and present and emerging, for their continuing culture and the contributions they make to the life of our community, both now and in the past.
